BLUEGRASS U! is the new podcast about the ETSU Bluegrass, Old-Time and Roots Music program and Appalachian Studies hosted by Artist in Residence Tim Stafford, featuring music and conversations with students, faculty, alumni and friends. Founded in 1982, the ETSU program is the largest in the world and the first of its kind at a four-year institution, and its housed in the world's first and only Department of Appalachian Studies. Bluegrass U! is a production of ETSU and is produced by Tim and Program director Dan Boner. New episodes added weekly! Our first episode is with Grammy nominee and IBMA Guitar Player of the Year Trey Hensley.
