From the recording Wall Dogs
Anywhere Else
This is one of the early songs that Thomm and I wrote, really just about solitary wanderlust. Or is it about tumbleweeds? I felt like it needed an expansive chord structure and melody to match the wide-open lyrics.

1) Anywhere else, my destination
Not coming back, my aspiration
Just like this old tumbleweed
On my own, all I desire
Rolling along between wind and wire
Just like this old tumbleweed
CH) Going, always going
One eternal moment
Doesn’t even matter where you’re from
Knowing, never knowing
Which way the breeze is blowing
All the way from here to Kingdom come
2) Made to leave, never goodbye
Nothing to grieve, just open sky
Just like this old tumbleweed
From here to there, it’s all the same
Timeless between the sunshine and rain
Just like this old tumbleweed
BR) Rolling through the distance,
Is the point of my existence
No point asking why
CH) Going, always going
One eternal moment
Doesn’t even matter where you’re from
Knowing, never knowing
Which way the breeze is blowing
All the way from here to Kingdom come
